Our Male Fertility Range

Male factors play a part in around half of couples' difficulties conceiving, yet sperm health is often the last thing to be looked at. Sperm take around 74 days to develop, so the nutrients you take now help shape the sperm available in roughly three months' time. This range brings together our supplements formulated for men trying to conceive, naturally or through fertility treatment such as IVF or ICSI.

Vitamen is our foundation multivitamin for men, with 25mg of Zinc, which contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, and 100µg of Selenium, which contributes to normal spermatogenesis. Build on it with Vitamen Boost or Vitaseed Pro for antioxidant support, Kaneka Ubiquinol CoQ10, Menceive for gut health and Vital DHA for Omega-3. Every product is developed with IVF experts, drawing on more than 40 years of Zita West's experience. Not sure where to start? Book a free 1:1 product consultation with one of our experts.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best supplement for male fertility?

For most men, Vitamen is the best starting point, covering the core micronutrients for sperm health, including Zinc and Selenium. Men who want more targeted support often add Vitamen Boost or Vitaseed Pro, Kaneka Ubiquinol CoQ10 and Vital DHA. Our guide to building a daily routine that supports sperm health explains how to combine them, and the Male Foundation Fertility Support Pack brings the core products together. How long do supplements take to affect sperm?
Sperm follow a 74 day sperm development cycle, so we recommend taking supplements consistently for at least three months before trying to conceive or starting treatment. This mirrors the 90 day egg maturation window, which is why we encourage couples to start together.
Does age affect male fertility?

Yes. Men produce sperm throughout life, but sperm quality, including motility and DNA integrity, tends to decline with age. Lifestyle matters too: smoking, alcohol, heat exposure, stress and excess weight can all affect sperm health. Our Male Fertility Report 2026 looks at what men really know about their fertility.

What is the difference between Vitamen, Vitamen Boost and Vitaseed Pro?

Vitamen is a foundation multivitamin for men trying to conceive. Vitamen Boost adds antioxidant support for sperm health and is designed to be taken alongside Vitamen. Vitaseed Pro is a broader antioxidant powder blend for men, including N-Acetyl L-Carnitine, D-Aspartic Acid, L-Arginine and Vitamin C. Our guide to the top 10 antioxidants for sperm health explains more.

Should both partners take supplements?
We recommend it. Egg and sperm quality both matter for conception and early pregnancy, so supporting both partners makes sense. The Couples Foundation Fertility Support Pack combines the core products for both of you.
What is sperm DNA fragmentation and can supplements help?
Sperm DNA fragmentation means damage to the genetic material inside sperm. It has been associated with lower fertilisation rates and poorer embryo development, even when sperm are selected for ICSI. Oxidative stress is a recognised contributor.

Supplements cannot treat DNA fragmentation. Some nutrients contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc, which are all found in Vitamen Boost. If you have had a DNA fragmentation result, follow the advice of your GP or specialist.
