Product Details

Vitamin E is one of the most researched antioxidants in reproductive biology. One capsule a day of this formulation delivers 400 IU of natural D-Alpha Tocopherol Succinate, the bioavailable natural form selected for stability and used in fertility research, offering approximately twice the bioavailability of synthetic DL-Alpha Tocopherol. In women, Vitamin E is concentrated in follicular fluid, where it plays a role in the antioxidant environment around developing oocytes, and has been studied in relation to endometrial and luteal phase health.

In men, it's embedded in sperm cell membranes, among the most oxidatively vulnerable cells in the body, and is one of the most studied antioxidants for sperm DNA fragmentation, particularly relevant for men undergoing ICSI. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and is suitable for both men and women during preconception.

Who Is This For?

Vitamin E is designed for:

  • Women and men preparing for conception who want antioxidant protection during the oocyte maturation and spermatogenesis cycles
  • Couples going through IVF or ICSI who have been advised to optimise antioxidant nutrition
  • Women with PMOS (formerly known as PCOS), or with thin endometrium, wanting to understand the role of antioxidant nutrition (always discuss with your fertility specialist)
How To Take

Take one capsule per day with food.

We recommend starting Vitamin E at least three months before trying to conceive, as egg maturation takes approximately 90 days and spermatogenesis around 74 days. This product is intended for use during preconception and is not intended for use during pregnancy or postnatal periods unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Zita West packaging has been designed to maintain product quality. We recommend keeping all capsules in their original jars, instead of decanting into a pill pot. Store them somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight in temperatures below 25°C.
