Endometriosis Support

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside it, and it affects around 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. It is associated with inflammation and higher oxidative stress, and can make trying to conceive take longer, so many women look for nutritional support alongside the care they receive from their GP or specialist.

This collection brings together supplements chosen with endometriosis in mind, including Vitafem for foundational nutrition, NAC and Vitafem Boost for antioxidant support, and Omega-3 from Ultra Omega and Vital DHA. The Endometriosis Support Pack combines Vitafem, Ultra Omega, NAC, Femceive and Vitamin D Spray in one order. These supplements are not a treatment for endometriosis, but are designed to support your nutrition while you are trying to conceive. Frequently asked questions

Which nutrients are most relevant for endometriosis?

Because endometriosis is linked to inflammation and oxidative stress, antioxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids are the nutrients most often studied in relation to it. NAC supports the body's own Glutathione production, one of its main antioxidant defences, and Omega-3 from Ultra Omega and Vital DHA is commonly recommended. A good foundation multivitamin such as Vitafem helps cover the wider nutrients needed when trying to conceive. Read more about endometriosis and Omega-3.

What is in the Endometriosis Support Pack?
The pack combines five products: Vitafem, Ultra Omega, NAC, Femceive and Vitamin D Spray. It is the simplest way to cover the supplements we most often recommend for women with endometriosis who are trying to conceive.
Can I get pregnant with endometriosis?
Yes, many women with endometriosis go on to conceive. Every journey is different, and looking after your overall health, including your nutrition, can help support your body along the way. Supplements aren't a fix for endometriosis, but they can help make sure you have the nutrients your body needs while you are trying to conceive. We recommend speaking to your GP or a fertility specialist, who can talk you through the options that are right for you.
Should I take supplements if I'm having IVF with endometriosis?
Many women with endometriosis continue their supplements alongside IVF, and starting around three months before treatment gives them time to support the 90 day egg maturation window. Always check with your clinic, as protocols vary.
Can I take these alongside hormonal or medical treatment?
Check with your specialist or GP before starting any supplement if you are on prescribed medication or having treatment for endometriosis.
