Product Details

Vitamen Boost provides a complex of well-researched antioxidants designed to combat oxidative stress, a leading contributor to male infertility linked to low sperm count, low motility and a high number of misshapen sperm. Nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene and Alpha Lipoic Acid work together to protect cells from damage that can impact sperm health and function. Vitamen Boost also provides Zinc, an essential nutrient for men that plays a critical role in sperm production.

Seminal fluid concentrations of Zinc are around 30 times higher than in blood, highlighting its importance for semen quality. It is designed to be taken alongside Vitamen as a 'booster', either for men who have poor semen results or who want to protect their reproductive health against oxidative stress.

Who Is This For?

Vitamen Boost is designed for:

  • Men with poor semen results who want extra antioxidant support
  • Men looking to protect their reproductive health against oxidative stress
  • Men taking Vitamen daily who want a targeted three-month booster
How To Take

Take two capsules daily with water and food, ideally splitting the dose across the day to enhance absorption.

Vitamen Boost is intended as a companion antioxidant complex product alongside a good quality multivitamin, such as Vitamen, and not as a standalone product. This is because it misses some nutrients we consider foundational for the preconception period. Both Vitamen and Vitamen Boost provide high levels of Zinc to support spermatogenesis. We recommend taking Vitamen Boost for at least three months before trying to conceive, in line with the 74 day sperm development cycle.

Zita West packaging has been designed to maintain product quality. We recommend keeping all capsules in their original jars, instead of decanting into a pill pot. Store them somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight in temperatures below 25°C.

What's Inside Our Vitamen Boost - Male Antioxidant Support For Sperm Health

Selenium

Sperm HealthAntioxidant SupportImmune Support
Selenium

Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis and the protection of developing sperm cells from oxidative stress - one of the few nutrients with an authorised claim specifically for sperm development. It has been extensively studied in male reproductive research, particularly in combination with Vitamin E, where synergistic antioxidant activity has been observed.

Vitamin E

Antioxidant SupportSperm HealthCell Protection
Vitamin E

Vitamin E is embedded in the membranes of sperm cells, which are among the most oxidatively vulnerable cells in the body due to their high polyunsaturated fatty acid content. It contributes to the protection of these membranes from oxidative stress and has been studied extensively in male reproductive research, particularly alongside Selenium.

Zinc

Sperm ProductionSemen QualityHormone Support
Zinc

Zinc is concentrated in seminal fluid at levels far higher than in blood, reflecting its central relevance to male reproductive nutritional status. It contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, normal testosterone levels and the protection of cells from oxidative stress - three directly authorised claims relevant to male preconception health.

Vitamin C

Antioxidant SupportSperm HealthImmune Support
Vitamin C

Vitamin C is found at concentrations up to ten times higher in seminal fluid than in blood, where it plays a key role in protecting sperm DNA from oxidative damage. It has been studied in relation to sperm motility, morphology and count, particularly where oxidative stress is a contributing factor.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Cellular EnergyAntioxidant SupportSperm Health
Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a versatile antioxidant working in both water and fat-soluble environments, contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative stress throughout the body. Its dual solubility allows it to work across a broader range of cells and tissues than either water or fat-soluble antioxidants alone.

N-Acetyl L-Carnitine

Sperm MotilityCellular EnergyMitochondrial Support
N-Acetyl L-Carnitine

N-Acetyl L-Carnitine has been studied in relation to the mitochondrial Carnitine shuttle within sperm cells, where energy availability is central to the tail movement needed for motility. It has also been studied in relation to sperm count and morphology, particularly in men where oxidative stress is elevated.

Beta Carotene

Antioxidant SupportSperm HealthCell Protection
Beta Carotene

Beta Carotene is a plant-derived precursor to Vitamin A and a fat-soluble antioxidant that contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It has been studied in the context of male reproductive health and complements the water-soluble antioxidants in Vitamen Boost, broadening the spectrum of cellular protection.
